Alison Cotey Bourquin, AICP, PLA

Alison takes on every project with the goal of improving the environments where our lives take place. As a licensed Landscape Architect and an AICP certified planner with over 15 years experience in project management, detailed site planning, master planning and development, long range vision planning and coordination with regulatory agencies. She has an Bachelors of Arts in Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Masters of Urban Design for the University of Colorado in Denver.

Alison loves to think through complex challenges and figure out strategies for improving the places where we live, work and play. She is a thought leader in the field, offering ideas and processes for change and revitalization in our local and regional communities. She has a strong capacity to generate ideas, put a pen to paper and draw, as well as the technical skills to bring ideas to fruition. Alison designs at a range of scales, from detailed site design to master planning, on projects that range from campus planning, resort planning, master planning, parks and recreation planning, corridor planning, and downtown revitalization projects. She excels at project coordination with the public and local agencies of and has organized and facilitated public outreach, stakeholder meetings, and coordinated varied project through the importance of listening to the community and communicating based on mutual goals.
